Hypnotized Scientists refers to the group of Hypnotized scientists who all appear in The Demon Headmaster Takes Over and Series 3 of it's Television series. The group visit the University of Wessex in order to attend a conference by Tim Dexter on Artificial intelligence.
However the conference is derailed when a Hypnotised Tim Dexter allows The Headmaster takes the podium at which point he upsets the scientist by saying curiosity is the curse of the Human brain. The Headmaster then Hypnotises all the people at the conference and assigns them all roles in is plan to take over the country.
The book and the third series of TV series (its television adaption) show widely different views of the conference, with readers seeing the conference from Lloyd, Harvey and Dinah Hunter POV and the television showing inside the conference from the scientists POV. In the book we see the conference from Dinah's POV as she attempt to watch highlights of the conference on TV but the broadcast looses its picture and sound as the Headmaster takes the stage. In the Television series we see events from within the conference and includes a scene towards the end where the Headmaster assigns people tasks.
