Ellie (Surname Unknown) is a British teenage girl who appears in the book "Facing the Demon Headmaster". She is Mandy's cousin who introduces the SPLAT gang to Club Purple and takes them there for the first time at the start of the book.

She is part of a small group of Club Purple attendees who are known as "The first Purples" who were people that went to the club on the opening night. They all dress alike and described as having Dead White expressionless faces, Dark Purple lipstick and a lot of Black eye make-up.

Every week club goers are required to bring a certain product with them that night in order for the games that happen at the end of the night. Many clubbers don't have the items and have to make a run to the shops on the way to the club, but Ellie and the first Purples seemingly know before time.

When the DJ Pardoman website was updated announcing a competition that challenged fans to find the most out about the mysterious DJ, Ellie encouraged Dinah to join the search. She recommended that Dinah searched for information via the local new websites rather than the national news websites as everyone would be hitting the national sites.

On one of the local sites Dinah finds an image of a man named Phil Ashby whose image resembles a picture of her father, Stephan Glass, who was meant to be deceased. The article on the website says that Phil lost his memory over ten years and didn't know his real name, which made Dinah think that the man might be her father.

Dinah investigates and tracks Phil down to a Hospital where he'd been involved in a car accident and had his face wrapped in bandages, stopping Dinah from identifying him. Dinah got attached to the man, who was unconscious, visiting him a number of times and specificity coming to see Phil have his bandages removed.

However this was a trap with the Headmaster replacing Phil that day, at which point he Hypnotises her when she was staring at his face as the bandages were removed. It is revealed that Ellie and the other first Purples were hypnotised and working for the Headmaster, with Ellie being tasked to direct Dinah towards the website which had had the image of Phil edited to resemble Dinah's father.
